Well, here I am in good old Columbia.

Meg and I moved back in on Monday.... I cried and cried when I left- I am such a baby!! Our last Sunday at church was sad- but only bc I have enjoyed summer so much. I guess that is a good problem to have, that I like home so much. I had the BEST SUMMER OF MY LIFE (thus far...).

It took about, oh, I don't know, a zillion trips to and from the car to get things in, but now I am very happy with my apartment. It is bright and cheerful- you will love it when you come to visit SC!! There is, however, a train louder than ANYTHING HERE ON EARTH that just happens to rumble straight thru our "yard". It was, shall we say, quite a surprise...

I am loving having lots of people over to the apartment- it's good to see everyone again!!

I hope yall are doing great. Leave me something!

Hello dear friends! Man, I can already tell I am going to be TERRIBLE at updating regularly.... anyway. This past week-- hmmm.

I went to Columbia on Weds. and Thurs. Not the country of Columbia, the city, silly!! Meg and I were attempting to set up our apt, but it was a disaster. Ugggg. I t was one of those trips when NOTHING gets done and much time is wasted. But oh well, at leat now everything is moved in. That will make it a much smoother transition (right...?). Megan says it looks pretty good now, one can only hope... I made it back for young adults group on Thurs night. I LOVE IT- there was a huge group and it is always so much fun. Afterwards some ppl came over and we watched The Shining. AAAAAH!!!! It is so scary, so very scary (even after several viewings). It does make for some troubled sleep, however...

Friday night we went to Stone Mountain Park. I have never been up the mountain, so  it was a totally new experience. It is gorgeous up there. The walk down slippery slopes and tiny trails with Cory, Greg, and Daniel was a little scary, but totally worth it. The laser show was the same as  always. And that is always good. Who likes change anyway??

Saturday we packed it up and drove to the Ocoee for a day chock-full of adventure. We white water raft-ed(?) and it was SO FUN (minus the drunk creepsters on the bus- GRODY). It was a perfectly enjoyable day.

Yesterday we sang some great songs at church and heard a really good sermon, as usual. I slept basically all afternoon and then went back to church and D'ship. That was sad because it was goodbye to the seniors. How Midway will miss them!! What an amazing group of people- I am so glad to know them all. We went to DQ and sang and danced in the rain. Dancing in the rain should be required. It is altogether too fun to be optional.

Alright, yall have a good start of the week, and leave me something.

Saturday Lake Day at Erin's= PERFECTION. I had the best time.....

I was so late but it's ok bc luckily everyone else was too! We rode over and made it safely with Bobby as our most excellent driver (aaaah!!!!) and let's just say that we were all thrilled to make it there to Alabamer. Erin's house was awesome and her parents were so great and hospitable. They have a screened deck and guess what it has- no you won't ever guess!! A BED THAT HANGS ON CHAINS AND FLOATS AROUND!!! It was.... superb. truly. Shout out to Bonnie, Micky, Erin, and Laura Lynn for jumping in with me!!! Lots of laughs.  I attempted to water ski. That made up my huge mistakes numbers 1- 10 for the day... oh well. Maybe it's not my thing... We had a great time fellowshipping and hanging out together.

Sunday was full of church. It is my fave day of the week. I love being there with everyone and seeing the ppl I only see once a week. "Praise to the LORD, the Almighty the King of creation!"

Today was MS six flags day- what a RUSH!! I love rollercoasters a lot--- maybe too much!! Haha jk.... but i love the middle schoolers and I had the best day with them. Alright, yall fill me in! God bless you!

SO, who else thinks summer is flying by far too fast?? I can't even keep up with it- it seems like this week just started and it's already over. But it was great, you just can't beat a hot fun week where the majority is spent at the pool:) . On Wednesday night i met with the middle school girls over at the Fish House- what a lovely and amazing group of girls. I am so glad to know them and I have learned so much from them. Oh yes, and also had  A BLAST with them. MS youth group followed and then it was off to the Avenue for ice cream "with pulp" (aka coconut slivers) and a movie at Al Whit's. Good times-- Braves game on Thursday. I love Jeff Francouer. He is the MAN. And prob the only Braves name I would recognize... Young Adults group on Thursday night. I always love that thing! It's great to catch up with people and get a really good lesson. We stayed late hanging out and talking. Party animals, i know!! Yesterday I shopped with my mom for my apartment. Mostly cleaning supplies, etc, but it is still exciting- except for the back to school part... I went over and had dinner with Brett and Michelle and some other people I didn't really know, but it was s perfect night... We sat outside and ate steaks (oh baby!) and just talked and talked. It was kind of cool and barely BARELY drizzling, so we stayed outside the whole time. We listened to music. It was one of those really relaxed, lazy summer nights with good company, and it was sweet. Today is LAKE DAY at Erin's. She is the BEST for having us-- I am looking forward to it like crazy! I'll write about it later.. I hope yall are doing great, leave me your news and I will talk to you soon!
